Working out your band & cup sizes
For all our Crops, Bralettes and Bra styles you only need 2 measurements: your UNDER-BUST and OVER-BUST and all you need is a tape measure to calculate these.
1. Your UNDER-BUST is where the band of your bra fits around your ribcage. You want to get the a snug fit with your measuring tape, as our fabrics are stretchy and sizing is based off your actual true measurement here.
This is the number part of a bra size, 12 (= band size) C (=cup size)
NOTE: I have allowed for ease (space to breath ;) in the designs, so you don't need to allow for a relaxed fit. Just get the accurate measurement of your chest.
In this chart below, find your under-bust measurement (first 2 rows) and in the bottom row you will find your equivalent size. This BAND SIZE is the size you will be wearing in many of my pieces. TIP: If you are on the tail end of any size and like a relaxed fit, go up a size.

2. Next step, working out your OVER-BUST. This measurement is the fullness of your breasts, and this top measurement, minus your under-bust measurement, will give you a number that is used to calculate your CUP size.
To get the most accurate top bust measurement, measure with a well fitting bra on, an underwire can be the best here as it gives you the most lift, but must not have any padding or foam. So with this comfortable and well fitting bra (as you own), and standing on even surface, measure you top-bust.
You are looking for the fullest part of your bust when you are wearing a bra. For some this is nipple level, and for others is lower. Just measure a few spots to see which is the most full.
3. Once you have these 2 measurements, write them down so you can't forget!
4. With these 2 measurements, minus your UNDER-BUST from your OVER-BUST.
You will then have a number that is the difference amount between the two - and this amount shows your cup size.
